Blantyre, 13th July, 2023 - The Financial Intelligence Authority conducted training for Compliance Officers for Designated Non-Financial Business Persons and Professions (DNFPBs) based in Blantyre.
The Compliance officers were trained by the Financial Intelligence Authority-Malawi on their obligations under the Financial Crimes Act to implement measures to mitigate against Money Laundering, Terrorism Financing and Proliferation Financing.
Participants included compliance offices from the Real Estate sector, legal entities and accounting firms.
