The Council of Ministers of the Eastern and Southern Anti-Money Laundering Group (ESAAMLG) approved Malawi’s Mutual Evaluation Report during their 19th meeting held in Ezulwini, Eswatini. The report will be finalized by the ESAAMLG Secretariat and be posted on their website in the next few months after going through the remaining necessary procedures.
Meanwhile, the Director General of the Financial Intelligence Authority Mrs. Atuweni Juwayeyi-Agbermodji has, on behalf of the Minister of Finance, Economic Planning and Development Honourable Joseph Mwanamvekha M.P., commended various Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies and the private sector for their ardent participation in the mutual evaluation exercise.
